  • Acer Aspire E11 (11-inch notebook)

The E11 appears slim but don't let the colors deceive you. It's remarkably thick at 0.83-inches. And there are four colors to choose from, including red (shown above), blue, black, and white.

  • Acer Aspire E11 (11-inch notebook)

This 11.6-inch high-definition display is sharp and clear. It also doesn't come with a fan, making the notebook very quiet. And the touchpad works with extreme accuracy.

  • Acer Aspire E11, E14 side-by-side (11-14-inch notebooks)

The E11 (red) and the larger E14 (green) both run the latest versions of Windows 8.1. The big difference between the two is the highly customizable nature of the E14, which can have either an Intel or AMD processor, and comes in touch or non-touch options.
