After Telefonica deal, Yoigo unveils Fusion triple-play packages
Yoigo, Spain's fourth largest mobile network operator, has unveiled details of its first foray into the triple play market.
Launched on Monday, Yoigo has announced three products under a new Fusion brand, each combining landline, ADSL internet connection and mobile phone deals.
The cheapest option is Fusion Flat. Costing €34, it offers 10Mbps broadband, a phone line with unlimited free calls to other landlines and a mobile with 100 minutes of calls to other mobiles and landlines and a data allowance of 100MB per month.
Next up is Fusion Infinite. This package costs €49 per month and offers 10Mbps ADSL broadband access, a landline with unlimited free calls to other landlines, 500 minutes of calls to mobiles at the weekend and 50 minutes during the week, and a mobile line with unlimited calls to mobiles and landlines and a data allowance of 1GB per month.
Finally, the most expensive package is Fibre Fusion Infinite, costing €59 per month. For that customers will get the same allowances as the Fusion Infinite package, with the exception of the broadband line, which is bumped up to a superfast 100Mbps fibre connection.
Fusion Infinite and Fibre Fusion Infinite customers can add additional mobile lines to their package. For €15 per month, users can add another mobile with unlimited calls to mobiles and landlines. Additionally, for €3 per month, users can get a data-only SIM, which will share the user's primary data allowance. All prices have VAT on top.
Yoigo's ability to offer home broadband and landlines alongside its mobile packages is thanks to a deal it signed with Telefonica's Movistar brand earlier this year. The network-sharing deal also gave Telefonica access to Yoigo's 4G network, allowing Spain’s biggest mobile network to offer 4G services.
This means Yoigo joins Movistar, Vodafone and Orange in offering landline, broadband and mobile access to its customers.
