CommunicAsia is never complete without svelte models dressed in figure-hugging costumes, or so I have been led to believe.

And at this year's show, there were indeed some exhibitors that turned up the heat in the air-conditioned event halls with skimpily-clad sweet young things strutting around the company's product displays.

But those expecting any extraordinary will surely be disappointed--costumes were mostly mediocre and yawn-inducing, looking as if they had been hastily put together.

The pleasant surprise of the day, though, was a pair of Nigerians who were dressed in their 'comfort wear', which looked totally refreshing--albeit a little out of place.

As a tribute to the fashion-savvy on the show floor, here's some of the interesting wear our humble camera captured on Day 1 at the show.
