Google has added three handy business features for Apps on Android as the company makes moves to entice enterprises to consider its smartphone platform.

Among the key additions:

  • A new Google Apps Device Policy app to aid employees in finding a lost or stolen Android device; the app will find the phone on a map, ring it and reset the password remotely.

  • Apps administrators already have the option to encrypt data on a device; this encrypted storage will now be extended to Honeycomb tablets.
