The unveiling of the new product will take place at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco on 7 March. There are many rumours about what features an 'iPad 3' might include, but commentators now need wait just one more week to see the reality.

According to ZDNet UK sister site CNET UK, Apple sent out the invite as Google chairman Eric Schmidt was taking to the stage for his Mobile World Congress keynote. Google's Android OS is available on a multitude of tablets, but so far none have managed to approach the popularity of the iPad line.
