  • No offense, Matthew

I know click rate is important but do you seriously think that anyone would click throught 120 pages of slidshow? To make it worse each page of the slideshow is a full page refresh, browsering them all is just brutal.

We appreciate your effort to put together this visual presentation, but this is just too much for clicking and loading.

    • Sorry, it's the system we have and my learning of it

I understand the frustration with the gallery tool we use, but I work with what I have. I understand in the future I can resize the images better to try to fit on a single page so up and down scrolling is not needed and will definitely work on that in the future.

You can always try using the thumbnail tool at the bottom of the gallery and then just viewing those screenshots that particularly interest you.

      • It's not personal

Because I know it's the system that sucks, not you.
It's just seems a lot of your energy is wasted in this faulty gallery tool with all the images and descriptions.

Like I said, we appreciate your effort. Matthew. No soup for you zdnet!

  • This slideshow is more horrible than iOS 6 Maps

Way too much to wade through.

  • Best Solution

switch to android and you get an OS that does all and little bit more.
I have android phone and iPad2 and in order to do many things, I have to switch to my phone or PC. Re iPhone, I just tried it a bit in store and never liked it.

  • If you want to avoid scrolling, use Opera

Scrolling up and down to see the big slides can be a pain. But Opera provides a page-size control (a slider at the bottom right of the Opera window). Works fine for reducing the slides so they can be seen full-page without scrolling (at least if the monitor resolution is adequate).

  • Slideshow painful

I could not make it beyond slide 12. At slide #9 I checked to see how many slides I had looked at. Three more was all I could stand. ZDNet people must be like Microsoft and the Federal government: They really don't care what we think. What really drives me crazy is the page loads partly and you can see what you want. Then the page jumps up and down as more parts of the page are loaded. It is like having a videographer undergoing an epileptic seizure while filming.

  • The World Runs On Google Maps

Apple's incredibly stupid move to replace Google Maps with their own unfinished, woefully poor, mapping software is just another example of the massive egos that trundle the halls of the Apple Campus.
