Apple has expanded its line of television ads promoting Siri, the voice-enabled assistant for iOS, with a new spot featuring director Martin Scorsese. Apple has previously released Siri commercials featuring Samuel L. JacksonJohn Malkovich, and Zooey Deschanel.

Scorsese must be an Apple fan, I can't imagine him doing a television commerical for the money.

Which celebrity should Apple tap for its next Siri ad?

  • Who was that guy?

Which celebrity? Very accomplished ones (not the same thing as the most popular ones). The goal would be to make being in an Apple ad a kind of career event, sort of like doing a cameo on "Law and Order" was. If they can get that dynamic going, there will be no end to the Big Names wanting to do an ad... and they won't want that much money. It'll be more of an ego thing.
