$144 mln of venture financing went into open source companies in Q1-Q3 2005

By September 2005, the amount of venture money that went to companies with "open source" in their business description was $144 mln, which is more than double the total for the whole 2004, according to National Venture Capital Association, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Thomson Venture Economics.
