158 mln digital music tracks sold in the US in the first half of 2005

158 mln digital music tracks were downloaded in the US in the first half of 2005, Nielsen SoundScan says. Compared to the first half of 2004, this represents growth of 187%. However, sales of music albums were down 7% compared to the first half of 2004.
