38.5 mln Internet users in India in 2005, 100 mln by 2007

The number of Internet users in India will shoot to 100 mln in two years from the current 38.5 mln. The number of Internet users has soared 54% from 25 mln users in 2004-2005, Internet and Mobile Association of India says. The e-commerce market was likely to grow to $511 mln by 2006-2007 from the present $262 mln.
