$387 mln invested in Israeli startups in Q2 2005

In Q2 2005, 98 Israeli high-tech companies raised $387 mln from VCs, according to Globes Online, which cited IVC Research Center. The amount was up 11% from the $350 mln raised by 102 companies in Q1 2005 and was 14% higher than the $338 mln raised by 91 companies in Q2 2004.

In Q2 2005, 98 Israeli high-tech companies raised $387 mln from VCs, according to Globes Online, which cited IVC Research Center. The amount was up 11% from the $350 mln raised by 102 companies in Q1 2005 and was 14% higher than the $338 mln raised by 91 companies in Q2 2004. In the first half of 2005, the capital raised was $737 mln, up 15% from the levels of the first half of 2004.
