40% of marketers to increase direct mail budgets in 2008

In 2008 direct mail is expected to continue to see growth with 40% of marketers planning to increase their direct budgets next year, down slightly from 50.2% in 2007, according to BtoB. Increases in print budgets will also be down. 27.8% of marketers expect to increase their print spending compared to 33.6% in 2007.
