6 mln XM Radio subscribers, 3.3 mln Sirius subscribers

XM Satellite Radio crossed the 6 mln subscriber mark in 2005, a bump of 2.7 mln new subscribers in 2005 alone. The company projected a total of 9 mln subscribers by 2007. Sirius now has 3.3 mln subscribers, surpassing company guidance of 3 mln for the end of 2005. Sirius added 2,173,302 subscribers in 2005 alone, landing at 3,316,560 just prior to January 2006.
