70,000 Australians use Wi-Fi

IDC estimated Australian wireless broadband revenues reached $13 mln in 2004. $57 mln is predicted for 2005 and $112 mln in 2006. The 70,000 users estimated for this year were dominated by consumers, IDC said. Business take-up would surpass the consumer market in 2007.
