910.8 mln mobile subscriptions in Europe, 101.5 mln of them 3G
At the end of May 2008, Europe had 101.5 mln 3G subscriptions out of a total of mobile subscriptions of 910.8 mln, a 11.1% penetration, Informa said. Tthe percentage of 3G subscribers is highest in Sweden, Norway and Italy with well over 25 percent, followed by Portugal, Austria and Spain.
