Cable and Wireless (C&W) today ended speculation and announced plans to create a new cable and communications company called Cable and Wireless Communications. The new group will blend the UK subsidiaries of Bell Cablemedia, Videotron, Nynex Cablecomms and Mercury Communications, C&W's UK arm.
