Accenture said Thursday that it has signed up Microsoft in a seven-year, $185 million business processing outsourcing agreement.

Under the deal, Accenture will provide finance and accounting procurement services. Microsoft is outsourcing some of its finance processes and consolidating services.

According to Accenture's statement, the company will provide "accounts payable, travel and expense, and record-to-report functions, including fixed assets, general ledger, treasury and statutory reporting."

Accenture aims to provide its services to Microsoft globally. Some of these services will be built on Microsoft's Dynamics AX platform, an ERP suite.
