Acer churns out budget-friendly Aspire notebooks with Intel, AMD CPU options

Continuing on with its big day of releases, Acer America has also added some notebooks to the Aspire series with some budget-minded price tags - as low as $429.99.

Continuing on with its big day of releases, Acer America has also added some notebooks to the Aspire series with some budget-minded price tags - as low as $429.99.

The new Aspire notebooks are not meant for those who can't make a decision as they are highly configurable, starting with choosing between 15.6- or 17.3-inch display sizes.

Here's what else there is to decide on:

  • Processor Options: Intel Core i3 or i5; AMD Phenom II, Athlon II, Turion II; AMD V Series
  • GPU Options: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 or 5650; ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250; Intel HD graphics
  • Hard Drive: 250GB to 500GB of HDD space
  • Optional Blu-ray drive

Specs across the board include 4GB of DDR3 memory, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Ethernet, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, an HDMI port, and an HD LED-backlit widescreen display (16:9 aspect ratio).

Available at some point before the end of June, pricing ranges from $429.99 to $899.99.
