Acer has officially introduced a quartet of new netbooks to be added to the Aspire One collection, all of which have some fairly reasonable price tags.

We already saw something about the Aspire One AO521 back in April, so it was only a matter of time that Acer said something concrete. It's just surprising that they took this long. Most of the few details that leaked then stand true today, although there's no mention about Bluetooth 3.0.

One slightly awkward point in the release is about the AO533, which promises "all-day battery life." The maximum battery life on this machine with the 6-cell Li-ion battery is eight hours. Technically, that is a full work day, but you'll have to carry the power cord around if you're going to be using this for any longer (like say on a long distance travel day). A good deal of netbooks can provide more of a battery lifespan than this, but in comparison to the other three on the list and taking the price tag into consideration, it's not bad.
