Acer's ultraportable C120 LED projector offers USB 3.0 power, 100 lumen output for $259

Summary:Equipped with a USB 3.0 port, Acer's C120 projector can be powered directly by a connected PC.

While Pico projectors have yet to hit the mainstream, they're still a pretty big deal for road warriors who find themselves giving lots of presentations while away.

Acer knows this, which is why the company is announcing the C120, a compact projector that weights just 6.34 ounces.
Like other decent Pico projectors, the C120 balances size with image output. The device projects images at a native resolution of 854x480 and a maximum resolution of 1280x800, so it's not the best choice for those looking for a HD projector.

Equipped with a USB 3.0 port, the device can be directly powered by an attached computer. While nice, that option cuts the device's light output to 75 lumens, which is a bit shy of the 100 lumens it emits while powered by its AC adapter. Still -- options.

Available now, the C120 sells for $259.
