Adobe Social beefed up with LinkedIn, Foursquare, Instagram, Flickr data

Summary:Adobe Social is branching out far beyond the typical social networking base of just Facebook and Twitter data.

Adobe Social, the social media management and monitoring arm of the software giant's Marketing Cloud, is finally tapping into four of the largest networks online.

The platform is baking in features to access data from LinkedIn, Foursquare, Instagram, and Flickr.

This is on top of existing integration with with Facebook, Google+, Reddit, Tumblr, and Twitter.

The ethos and structure of Adobe Social remains the same. Digital marketers should be able to use Adobe Social to monitor these networks to listen in on social conversations and then pinpoint consumer trends and behavior in real time.

But the integration with these four additional popular social networks and mobile platforms also tie-in some new features.

For example, users will be able to Adobe Social is also adding the ability to publish content to and analyze metrics associated with LinkedIn Company Pages and Groups.

Furthermore, marketers will be able to learn more about location-based initiatives and the surrounding landscapes through the Foursquare firehose of check-ins.

The additions of Flickr, Foursquare and Instagram access are available immediately.

Integration for LinkedIn info is currently in limited beta with general availability scheduled to be added at an unknown date later this year.
