Adobe updates font collection

Software publisher Adobe Systems released on Monday a new version of Adobe Font Folio, its collection of fonts for professional publishing. The update has more than 2,000 fonts in OpenType, a new format jointly developed by Microsoft and Adobe and usable by both Windows and Macintosh systems.

The update has more than 2,000 fonts in OpenType, a new format jointly developed by Microsoft and Adobe and usable by both Windows and Macintosh systems. The collection includes standard typefaces, old and restyled designs and new fonts such as Adobe Garamond and Warnock.

The new Font Folio also includes expanded international support for most European punctuation marks and character sets, including Greek and Cyrillic characters. Font Folio is available now, priced at $4,999 for a license that covers 10 computers or $8,999 for a license that covers 20.
