AOL columnist sued by Clinton advisor
Matt Drudge, author of the e-zine Drudge Report, was sued by Sidney Blumenthal, an advisor to the President Clinton. Drudge on August 10 reported that Blumenthal had covered up past spouse abuse.
Blumenthal sued Drudge and America OnLine Inc., which carries the Drudge Report, for a total of $30 million. Neither Drudge nor AOL were available for comment, but AOL had removed the August 10 Drudge Report, which carried the allegations, from its list of past Drudge Reports.
