AOL filter blocks EarthLink e-mails

Hundreds of thousands of e-mails sent by EarthLink customers to America Online accounts have been rejected and lost over a period of at least 10 days, thanks to some over-zealous filtering software on the part of AOL, according to an Associated Press report.Both companies said the problem had been fixed, although an EarthLink official decried the delay in resolving the issue, the news service reported.
