Appearance: Philadelphia PowerBook User Group (PPUG)

Summary:If you're going to be in Philadelphia this weekend, you're invited to attend the PPUG meeting on Saturday at noon. We're going to discuss and demo Apple's bumper crop of new hardware and software.

I'll be presenting at the Philadelphia PowerBook User Group (PPUG) tomorrow (Saturday, November 9, 2013) from 12 noon to 3 p.m. PPUG is the first dedicated PowerBook User Group in the United States and was founded in 1999.

We meet at the Manayunk Brewing Company along the beautiful Schuylkill River in Philadelphia and our meetings are open to all. We usually have lunch (or a brew) while we talk mobile computing.

With the recent spate of hardware and software announcements coming out of Cupertino, there's lots to talk about. I'm going to give a presentation on the iPhone 5s and the new Retina MacBook Pro. Also on the docket is iOS 7, iPhone 5c, iPad Air, Retina iPad mini, Mavericks and the forthcoming Mac Pro.

Join us for a great meeting, it's free and open to you and your guests. Feel free to bring items to sell or swap as well.
