Apple iPhone 4 heading to China on September 25

Following the release of the iPad in China last week, Apple is sending the iPhone 4 over there as well on September 25.

Following the release of the iPad in China last week, Apple is sending the iPhone 4 over there as well on September 25.

Starting this Saturday, the iPhone will be rolled out to the Apple Stores at Hong Kong Plaza in Shanghai and the Xidan Joy City location in Beijing. Pricing starts at CNY4,999 ($743) for the 16GB model and CNY5,999 ($892) for 32GB model without signing any contracts.

Outside the Apple Store ring, the iPhone 4 will also be made available at China Unicom retail stores. Pricing wasn't specified, but these price tags should be lower and subsidized with the signing of a two-year service agreement.
