Just a little over a month after the Macbook Pro line-up got a refresh, Apple is revamping the Macbook with a longer battery life span and faster performance speeds.

Staying put at $999 (the most budget-friendly price of Apple's laptops), the standard Macbook is getting a boost to 10 hours of battery life after a full charge.

The graphics behind that glossy 13.3-inch screen will start looking better too with the integration of the new NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor, making the graphics performance up to 1.8x faster than the previous generation. The CPU is also getting a bit of an update with the 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, versus the previous 2.26 GHz edition.

The refreshed Macbook laptop is available in Apple's U.S. online store now with free shipping. Let us know if you see it pop up anywhere else around the globe.
