In his iPhone 4 antenna news conference on Friday, Steve Jobs let slip the number of visitors to Apple's retail stores during the last quarter. The IfoAppleStore blog says that this is a new record.

Jobs said that its stores hosted over 60 million visitors during the most recent quarter.

The number surpasses the previous record of 50.9 million visitors set in the first quarter of 2010 by about 18 percent, and is substantially more than the 47 million visitors of the previous quarter.
