Aryaka is offering WAN Optimization as a Service

Sonal Puri, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Aryaka came by recently to introduce her company and its "WAN Optimization as a Service" offering.

Aryaka's goal is providing sophisticated network virtualization and optimization tools as cloud-based service offerings rather than offering the technology as a series of server appliances. This approach, Aryaka hopes, will simplify the whole concept of WAN optimization and make it available to a larger group of companies.

Aryaka has established Points of Presence (POPs) around the world. These POPs are located close to global business hubs. Customers connect their networks to one of these POPs and can immediately receive the benefit of a highly optimized network environment. The company claims that its global network is designed to to ensure less than 20-millisecond latency to over 90 percent of the world’s business users.

Aryaka's network includes a host of network virtualization features including optimization of TCP/IP traffic, de-duplication, compression, Quality of Service (QoS) monitoring and a number of other complex, but very useful technology.

I was impressed how easy it was to set up, operate and manage a sophisticated network environment. I hope to speak with one of the company's customers to learn more about the impact Aryaka's cloud service has on their business.
