Summary:ASG picks up a second government contract in the space of a week.

ASG has won a new IT contract with the Department of Housing in Western Australia (WA) worth AU$11.3 million.

The five-year agreement encompasses hosting and managing the department's servers, storage, and other IT assets. ASG will be delivering services through its Perth office.

The company scored the deal in a tender process, but it has worked with the department for other contracts in the past.

"ASG first provided services to the Department of Housing over five years ago," ASG managing director Geoff Lewis said in a statement. "Winning this contract was the result of our disciplined approach during the tender process, which demonstrated vastly better service as well as the quality and professionalism of our people."

Last week, the IT service provider nabbed a AU$14.8 million contract with the Department of Education in WA to restructure its Oracle licences for IT systems.
