Asia Pacific digital camera unit shipments up 29.5% in 2004

In the 15 countries that comprise the Asia Pacific region, the digital camera market experienced tremendous growth in 2004 during the regional economic recovery. Total unit shipments surged by 29.5% to reach 19.42 mln, while revenue escalated by 14.2%, to $5,262.9 mln, In-Stat says.
