Organizations in Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) spent $18.4 bln in 2003 on IT solutions, namely business intelligence (BI), enterprise resource management (ERM), customer relationship management (CRM), supply chain specifics (SCS), security, and storage to increase efficiency, improve visibility, and enhance business governance. Through investments in IT system upgrades, application licensing renewals, and strategic services provisioning, organizations are expected to expand the IT solutions market at a 2003-2008 CAGR of 13.1%, to reach $33.9 bln in 2008.
