Asiacontent.com announces key management positions

Asiacontent.com has appointed George Chan as chief financial officer, and Vincent Lee as president of Asiacontent.com’s Solutions division.

George Chan Asiacontent.com, a provider of online and advertising solutions, has appointed George Chan as chief financial officer, and Vincent Lee as president of Asiacontent.com’s Solutions division.

Prior to joining Asiacontent.com, Chan was vice president of Business Development at Alibaba.com, a business-to-business marketplace for global trade. Chan has over 20 years experience in finance, previously holding the position of chief financial officer of United Pacific Industries, a Hong Kong-listed company. Prior to United Pacific Industries, Chan spent over 16 years in the banking sector with Société Générale and Mellon Bank.

Chan holds an MBA from Northwestern University, J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a B.A., majoring in economics, from the University of California, Berkeley. He succeeds Deepak Desai who has left the company to pursue other interests.

Vincent Lee

Lee has more than 25 years experience in Asia’s high technology industry. He was most recently regional managing director, Asia Pacific, of the professional services arm of Lotus Development. In the past, Lee has also held senior management positions at Cap Gemini and Hewlett Packard in Asia Pacific. Lee succeeds Lim Joo Hong who is leaving the company at the end of June for personal reasons.
