Asian multifunction peripheral market down 4% in Q3 2004

According to IDC, the massive rollout of multifunction peripherals (MFPs) in Q3 2004 has resulted in a fall in single-function printer shipments. 4 mln units of single-function printers were shipped in Asia/Pacific in Q3 2004, representing an 8% sequential decline and 4% YTY decline.
