AT&T on Monday rolled out new rate plans for business customers as part of the carrier's Mobile Select and Equipment Installment Plans.

The new plans feature pooled data functionality across lines, which AT&T says will allow light users to balance out heavy users within a single billing account.

The pooled data plans range from 1GB to 10 GB for $35 to $80 per month with no annual service contract. A second option offers rates from $60 to $105 with a two-year contract for AT&T Mobile Select plans for smartphones. The same data buckets are available for $5 to $75 per month for data-only devices such as tablets, connected devices, laptops and netbooks.

The new plans also include new talk and text options for smartphones and feature phones and equipment installment plans options with zero percent interest financing.

AT&T said the plans are ideal for business customers using 100 lines or more.

"We want to simplify wireless for our business customers," said Danessa Lambdin, VP of AT&T Mobility product management, in a statement. "AT&T Mobile Select plans and Equipment Installment Plans let customers focus on managing their business instead of managing their mobility solutions. Features like pooled data and smartphone plan discounts for No Annual Service Contracts can help customers save costs as well."

The wireless carrier also announced that it will start offering its GigaPower service in 38 new markets, including Louisville, St. Louis and San Francisco.
