ATO appoints $100 million apps panel

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has named a panel of vendors to provide it with application development.

Last year, when the ATO first flagged the need for a tender for the panel, the organisation said that the work would be worth up to $110 million. The tax office was looking for experienced and qualified providers to develop applications for the ATO's Standard Operating System.

The length of the standing offer agreement is three years, with two one-year extension options attached, stretching the possible contract length out to five years in total.

The companies that have been appointed to the panel are:

  • Accenture Australia
  • Capgemini Australia
  • CSC Australia
  • HP Enterprise Services Australia P
  • IBM Australia

The IT services panel may provide services to other government departments if required in the contract period.
