Attacks target WINS worm hole

The Sans Internet Storm Center is reporting that malicious hackers have kicked off a series of attacks on a flaw in the Windows Internet Name Service (WINS), according to Ryan Naraine over at sister site ZDNet.com.

The hackers are hoping to hit those Windows users who have yet to apply the patch for the flaw, which Microsoft sent out in its Pathc Tuesday security bulletin this month.
