The Australian domain regulator auDA has gone to court seeking an order that Australian Style, trading as Bottle Domains, be wound up.

Australian Style took auDA to court last year to fight the domain name regulator's termination of its accreditation. auDA had terminated the accreditation following security incidents.

Australian Style lost the court case and the appeal and has been lumped with court costs amounting to over $373,000.

auDA said it had served a statutory demand for payment, which Australian Style has not complied with.

The regulator said that its quest for payment from Australian Style would not affect any of its former customers, as they had been transferred after the company lost an appeal.
