Aussies targeted by e-tax scam

Summary:There are a number of refund scam emails currently circulating. These emails claim to come from the ATO and offer a tax refund.

A number of people have been receiving emails purportedly from the Australian Taxation Office, saying that they are eligible to receive a tax refund, and asking them to click on a link to submit a request. The government's Stay Secure Online site and the ATO have both issued advice on how to handle these emails. Don't click on links or give out any information.
