Avaya adds more consulting services for large enterprises, cloud service providers

The new consulting services are being provided by approximately 1,500 specialists with expertise spanning multiple industries and markets worldwide.

Avaya is positioning itself as a stepping stone for cloud deployments with new consulting services.

With a focus on self-service automation, collaboration, and network security products, Avaya is providing the following two options:

  • Cloud Transformation Services: Help with planning and deploying a cloud-based communications strategy for both large enterprises and cloud service providers. For enterprises, this includes determining the model (i.e. private vs. hybrid, etc.) and designing an architecture that supports existing systems and software. For cloud providers, Avaya is promising support for building cloud infrastructures that can be tailored to each of its own individual customers.
  • Continuous Performance Services: Subscription-based consulting for specific solutions (e.g. Session Initiation Protocol technologies) as well as a visualized tool with real-time updates about network efficiency. These services also include automated self-service fine tuning for applications based on customer analysts and recommendations.
