Company officials said the latest iteration includes integrations with SignNow, Mover, Redbooth and Kloudless as well as new controls for securing proprietary company data.

"Our customers have asked for a more secure and easier to use solution and Barracuda is answering," Rod Mathews, the company's storage general manager, said in a statement. "This new release of Copy makes it cleaner, better and easier to store, access, sign and share files – from anywhere."

The revised Copy services now lets administrators use policy-based controls to allow or revoke users' rights to access and share files or join shares out of the company. Using federated storage areas, users can also access personal and company information from a single Copy account.

It's also updated the UI, admin page and mobile apps including new client apps for iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices. A company account setup wizard includes creation of initial file structure and groups for permissions.

On the workflow and collaboration front, Copy now integrates with SignNow, the mobile e-signature platform it acquired in May, to electronically sign and share documents in a single location.
