German company Slideflight has created an easier way to present PDF documents live from browser to browser.

Its new product, Beamium can be used for face to face presentations, lectures, pitches, conference calls and simple sharing of information.

The software was created to replace paper printouts, continuous e-mail attachments and missing documents.

With a uniquely generated ID, audiences, colleagues and clients are able to immediately retrieve and view PDFs, whether they are on the other side of the room or the other side of the world.

All you need to do is to upload your document on Beamium by drag and drop or one click. Then share the ID number with your audience by email.

Your audience can then follow your presentation on Beamium using the web viewer. There is no software to download, no add-on and no registration needed.

Simple functionality such as; pointers, thumbnails, horizontal zoom and viewer counter are available in the tool.

The content remains online for 14 days to enable folks to view the presentation.

Slideflight aims to make presentations, project and document sharing as easy as possible.

It believes that people should be able to share information instantly and effortlessly.

The company initially introduced the Slideflight PowerPoint add-in. This software enables presenters to share their presentations directly to their audience's devices.

The Slideflight PowerPoint add-in is intended for presenters who want to interact with an engaged audience, while giving all parties the opportunity to revisit the information when required.

Its second tool, Beamium enables users to share PDF documents, assignments and presentations. The inspiration for Beamium initially came from the company's investor, Senovo.

The Senovo team realized - during frequent telephone pitches and presentations prior to Slideflight - that a modern solution for a more effective way to share ideas was needed.

These platforms allow presentations and PDFs to be shared in real time to devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Its products offer users options on how, who and where to share their documents, creating a "simple and secure sharing platform".

Philip Franta, COO Sideflight said: "Beamium is an innovative, secure and simple solution for enabling easy communications and limitless PDF sharing and viewing".
