BenQ's managing director in Japan, Martin Moelle, has been made the head of the company in Australia.
Chee Fui Chung was BenQ's managing director for Australia, but has returned to the company's headquarters in Taiwan. It is unclear what new role she has assumed.
Not only will Moelle be looking after the electronics vendor in Australia; he has also become the sub-regional head for New Zealand, Japan, and Korea. He had been the head of BenQ in Japan for seven years prior to taking on his new role.
He will be relocating from Japan to Sydney.
"It's an exciting time for me to return, working with a great team of people and with a number of innovative BenQ products scheduled for release over the next few years," Moelle said in a statement. "I take on the responsibility of growing sales and brand presence in the market with great enthusiasm."
Before joining BenQ, he was the managing director for TDK Australia for 14 years.
