BitYota's data warehouse as service gains Rackspace distribution

Summary:BitYota's service will allow you to analyze mobile, Web and gaming apps through standard SQL databases without modifications.

BitYota, which provides data warehouse tools as a service, launched an on-demand analytics tool delivered through Rackspace.

Specifically, BitYota's data analytics service will query native JSON data through MongoDB using SQL. Simply put, BitYota's service will allow you to analyze mobile, Web and gaming apps through standard SQL databases without modifications.

Rackspace will offer BitYota via its Object Rocket unit. For BitYota, the Rackspace deal gives its data warehouse as a service more distribution.

Traditionally, MongoDB has struggled with ad hoc queries. Among the key points:

  • BitYota on ObjectRocket allows scheduled and on-demand data extraction and loading.
  • Real-time analysis via SQL extensions.
  • Analytics written in scripting language such as JavaScript, Python and Perl.
