It's said to be made from "the highest quality golden coloured real leather" and measures 68 x 120 x 10mm. Phones such as the iPhone 4 and 3GS and HTC Desire, Wildfire and Mozart models should fit.

You can search the site for 'gold union jack' to find the most appropriate version, though they all appear to be the same.

The gold pouch will ship on March 9 and costs £19.95, the same as the black patent leather version.

As you can see from the photo, the pouch lacks the button-sized ceramic or metallic portraits of the happy couple that would mark it out as a proper Royal Wedding souvenir. Can't blame them for trying to capitalise on any forthcoming wedding fever, but some later market entrants might well go the whole hog. On the other hand, the Union Jack theme may have a broader and longer-lasting appeal to bling lovers in search of a distinctive phone pouch.
