Intelliseek's BlogPulse posts today:

"Whoa. Apple's CEO Steve Jobs make a decision, and the blogosphere erupts. More than half (21, in fact) of today's top BlogPulse links refer in some way to Jobs' announcement Monday that Apple is switching from IBM to Intel chips in its computers by 2007."

Meanwhile, the ZDNet squad slept on it and has some good insight today:

Dan Farber: "Jobs didn’t enter into a deal with Intel–which can chalk up the design win as a marketing coup and with the potential for getting Apple’s consumers electronics business–without a pricing guarantee over the next few years that ensures that future Macs will be price competitive."

David Berlind: "So, Apple’s biting of one bullet, but not the other, is a bit troubling to this long-term observer.  Not only does the move to Intel pave the way for that next logical step, but there is perhaps no better time for Apple to give it it shot than now"
