Between Jan 1 2005 and Apr 16 2005, "="" class="c-regularLink" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">5,263,995 tracks were downloaded from UK online music stores, more than the number sold in the whole of 2004. 70-80% of the market belonged to the UK version of Apple iTunes Music Store.
