British telco to save up to £400m...

BT is in talks with Dutch telco KPN to share the cost of running its 3G network in the Netherlands. The deal would let mm02 and KPN Mobile split the costs of running the next-generation network when services are finally launched. The deal could save BT up £400m, according to a report in the Sunday Business. BT signed a similar deal with Deutsche Telekom in September to share the costs of running their UK and German networks.
