Terra Networks is buying Lycos Inc. in a stock-for-stock transaction valued at $12.5 billion, according to people familiar with the deal. Lycos shareholders would receive $97.55 worth of Terra ordinary shares, or their equivalent Terra American Depository Receipts, the sources said.
