Burning sensation for some G4 Cubes
Apple Computer has confirmed that a power-switch glitch affecting some Power Mac G4 towers is also behind a newly documented problem with the company's G4 Cube. On Dec.
On Dec. 30, Apple Japan posted a tech note explaining that some Cube users had encountered "a strong odor or smoke" and blaming the phenomenon on defective parts that Apple has discontinued using.
